Terms of Service

These terms apply to your use of https://www.bookcarsnow.com and the booking service provided by TravelOgent LLC ("Bookcarsnow.com", "we", "us"). By sending a request or booking through us, you agree to them.

1. What we do

Bookcarsnow.com is an independent booking service. We are not a car rental company and do not own, operate or maintain vehicles. We pass your request to rental companies in our partner network, send you a quote, and, if you accept it, arrange the booking with the rental company ("the Provider").

2. Your rental agreement is with the Provider

When you pick up the vehicle, you sign a rental agreement with the Provider. That agreement, and the Provider's policies on drivers, insurance, deposits, fuel, mileage, tolls, damage and returns, govern the rental itself. Your quote names the Provider and summarizes the key terms before you book.

3. Requests and quotes

• Sending a request is free and does not create a booking or any obligation.
• A quote shows the total price, including taxes and fees we know of at the time, and the security deposit. It is valid for the period stated on it, subject to availability.
• A booking exists only after you accept a quote and we send you a confirmation.
• How and when you pay, and to whom, is stated in your quote.

4. Vehicles

You book a vehicle class, not a specific make or model. Photos on this website are examples. The Provider may supply a similar vehicle in the same or a higher class.

5. Driver requirements

Drivers must meet the Provider's requirements, which usually include a valid license, a minimum age and a payment card in the main driver's name. If a driver doesn't meet them at pickup, the Provider may refuse the rental, and the cancellation terms in your quote apply.

6. Changes and cancellation policy

• Before you accept a quote: you can change or withdraw your request at any time, at no cost.
• After you accept: changes and cancellations follow the Provider's terms, which are written in your quote. Some rates are fully refundable up to a deadline; others are non-refundable. We will always tell you which before you book.
• No-shows and early returns are handled under the Provider's terms.

7. Acceptable use

Please give accurate information and use this website only for lawful purposes. Don't submit requests on someone else's behalf without their permission, or try to disrupt the site.

8. Our responsibility

We work carefully to pass on accurate information and arrange your booking as quoted. The Provider is responsible for the vehicle, its condition and the rental itself. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for a booking is limited to the amount you paid us for it, if any. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

9. Website content

Information on this website, including vehicle descriptions and general rental guidance, is provided for convenience and may change. Rates and terms are confirmed only in your quote.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in effect when you accept a quote applies to that booking.
